ایک شہری نے پٹرول کی قیمتوں میں اضافے کے خلاف درخواست دائر کی
Challenging the recent increase in the prices of petroleum products, a citizen has filed a petition in the Lahore High Court seeking its quashing.
It designates the federal government and the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority as official respondents to the petition.
The petitioner claims that the government has increased the price of petrol without the approval of the federal cabinet and this has put additional burden on those who are already troubled by inflation.
The federal government increased the prices of petroleum products on September 15, effective through the next fortnight of the month.
The price of petrol has now increased by Rs. 5 per liter and the price of diesel has been increased by Rs. Similarly, the prices of kerosene and light diesel increased by Rs 5.46 and Rs 5.92 per liter, respectively.

درخواست گزار کا دعویٰ ہے کہ حکومت نے وفاقی کابینہ کی منظوری کے بغیر پٹرول کی قیمت میں اضافہ کیا ہے اور اس سے ان لوگوں پر اضافی بوجھ پڑ گیا ہے جو پہلے ہی مہنگائی سے پریشان ہیں۔
وفاقی حکومت نے پٹرولیم مصنوعات کی قیمتوں میں 15 ستمبر کو اضافہ کیا ، جو کہ اگلے مہینے کے اگلے پندرہ روز سے نافذ العمل ہے۔
پٹرول کی قیمت میں اب روپے کا اضافہ ہوا ہے۔ 5 روپے فی لیٹر اور ڈیزل کی قیمت میں 10 روپے اضافہ اسی طرح مٹی کے تیل اور لائٹ ڈیزل کی قیمتوں میں بالترتیب 5.46 روپے اور 5.92 روپے فی لیٹر اضافہ ہوا۔
