Explaining the meeting of the executive committee, PDM spokesman Hamdullah told a press conference that the coalition had decided to boycott the joint sitting of parliament on September 13.
He indicated that opposition parties would go to parliament on that day and protest before boycotting the meeting.
Referring to the second phase of the PDM’s anti-government campaign, Hamdullah said that a grand convention would be held in Islamabad on September 26.
He said that a meeting would be held on October 16 in Faisalabad and on October 31 in Dera Ghazi Khan.
After the rally, the PDM will announce a caravan yatra and a long march to the capital, Hamdullah said.
