کراچی بارش سے سے نمٹنے کے لئے پاکستانی فوج طلب
کراچی میں مون سون کے جاری سیزن کے دوران ریکارڈ توڑ بارش ہوئی ، شہر کا نکاسی آب کا نظام چیلنج کے مقابلہ میں پھیلا اور میٹروپولیٹن شہر افراتفری میں مبتلا ہوگیا۔ بجلی ، ڈوبنے اور دیگر حادثات کے متعدد واقعات کی اطلاع ملی اور مقامی حکومت بے بس نظر آئی۔
کراچی کے شہری سیلاب کے مسئلے کو ختم کرنے کے لئے ، وزیر اعظم عمران خان نے نیشنل ڈیزاسٹر مینجمنٹ اتھارٹی (این ڈی ایم اے) اور پاک فوج دونوں کو خطرناک صورتحال سے نمٹنے کی ذمہ داری سونپی ہے۔
انٹر سروسز پبلک ریلیشنز (آئی ایس پی آر) کے مطابق ، پاک فوج کو کراچی کی سول انتظامیہ کی مدد کے لئے طلب کیا گیا ہے۔
نیشنل ڈیزاسٹر مینجمنٹ اتھارٹی کو شہر بھیجنے کے لئے حکومت نے وفاقی کابینہ سے فوری منظوری بھی طلب کی ہے۔
جمعرات کو گورنر سندھ عمران اسماعیل نے کہا کہ وفاقی حکومت کراچی اور این ڈی ایم اے پر پوری توجہ مرکوز ہے ، ایف ڈبلیو او کے عہدیدار وزیر اعظم کی ہدایت پر پہلے ہی کراچی پہنچ چکے ہیں۔
Karachi experienced record-breaking rainfall during the current monsoon season, the city’s drainage system met the challenge and the metropolis went into chaos. Several cases of electric shock, drowning and other accidents have been reported and the local government appeared to be helpless.
To alleviate the problem of urban flooding in Karachi, Prime Minister Imran Khan has mandated both the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and the Pakistani Army to deal with the dangerous situation.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Pakistani army has been brought in to support the civil administration of Karachi.
The government has also urged federal cabinet approval to send the National Civil Protection Agency into the city.
Governor Sindh Imran Ismail said Thursday that the federal government is fully focused on Karachi and NDMA. FWO officials have already reached Karachi on instructions from the Prime Minister.
