چلاس: مشتعل افراد کی فائرنگ سے سی ٹی ڈی کے 5 ملازم شہید ہوگئے
چلاس کے علاقے رونائی میں مشتبہ افراد کی ٹیم پر فائرنگ کے بعد کاؤنٹر ٹیررازم ڈیپارٹمنٹ (سی ٹی ڈی) کے پانچ اہلکار چلاس میں شہید ہوگئے ہیں۔
تفصیلات کے مطابق سی ٹی ڈی اہلکار مفرور افراد کو گرفتار کرنے کے لئے سرچ آپریشن کر رہے تھے کہ ملزمان نے ان پر فائرنگ کردی۔ اس واقعے میں پانچ اہلکار زخمی ہوئے جبکہ دو عام شہری بھی اپنی زندگی سے ہاتھ دھو بیٹھے۔
ایک افسر اور چار سپاہی پر مشتمل شہید اہلکاروں میں جنید ، شکیل ، سہراب ، اشتیاق اور غلام مرتضی شامل ہیں۔ زخمیوں اور لاشوں کو اسپتال منتقل کردیا گیا ہے۔
نگران وزیر اعلی گلگت بلتستان میر افضل خان نے سی ٹی ڈی ٹیم پر حملے کی رپورٹ طلب کرلی ہے۔ انہوں نے شہدا کو خراج تحسین پیش کیا اور ملزمان کے خلاف کارروائی کا عزم کیا۔
Five counter-terrorism (CTD) officers in Chilas had been martyred when suspects opened fire on the team in the Ronai region of Chilas.
CTD personnel said a search was underway to catch refugees when the suspects opened fire on them. Five officers were injured in the incident and two civilians were also killed.
The martyrs – consisting of an officer and four sepoys – include Junaid, Shakeel, Sohrab, Ishtiaq and Ghulam Murtaza. The injured and the bodies are brought to the hospital.
Mir Afzal Khan, Prime Minister of the Gilgit-Baltistan caretaker, has summoned a report of an attack on the CTD team. He praised the martyrs and vowed to take action against the accused.
