جن لوگوں نے ملک کو بے رحمی سے لوٹ لیا ان کا احتساب کرنا ہوگا: وزیر خارجہ
وزیر خارجہ شاہ محمود قریشی نے کہا ہے کہ حکومت اپوزیشن کی حمایت سے بہتر قانون سازی کے ذریعے ملک سے بدعنوانی کے خاتمے کے لئے پرعزم ہے۔
پیر کو ایک بیان میں ، انہوں نے کہا کہ ایف اے ٹی ایف ، قومی سلامتی اور قومی احتساب بیورو سے متعلق مسودے حزب اختلاف کو بھیج دیئے گئے ہیں۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ حکومت کو توقع ہے کہ اپوزیشن اس معاملے کو کھلے دل سے دیکھے گی اور حزب اختلاف کی جانب سے موصول ہونے والے جواب کے بعد ان معاملات پر مل بیٹھ کر بات کی جائے گی۔
وزیر خارجہ نے کہا کہ قانون سازی کا عمل جاری ہے کیونکہ خزانہ اور حزب اختلاف کے مختلف قوانین کے بارے میں مختلف نقطہ نظر ہیں۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ بہتر قانون سازی کے لئے ان اختلافات پر قابو پانے کے لئے 24 رکنی پارلیمانی کمیٹی تشکیل دی گئی ہے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ بدعنوانی کے خلاف قوانین کا مقصد کسی کو غیر منصفانہ طور پر ہراساں کرنا نہیں ہے بلکہ جن لوگوں نے ملک کو بے رحمی سے لوٹ لیا ، ان کے خلاف کارروائی کی جانی چاہئے۔
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said the government is determined to eradicate the country’s corruption through better legislation with the support of the opposition.
In a statement on Monday, he said the draft FATF, National Security and National Accountability Bureau had been sent to the opposition.
He said the government expected the opposition to investigate the matter openly, and after the opposition’s response, these matters would be discussed together.
The Foreign Minister said the legislative process will continue because the Treasury and the opposition have different positions on different laws.
He said a 24-member parliamentary committee had been set up to work out these differences for better legislation.
He said that anti-corruption laws are not aimed at harassing anyone unfairly, but that those who have ransacked the country ruthlessly should be held accountable.
