Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired the federal cabinet meeting in Islamabad on Tuesday. The federal cabinet gave the Sugar Forensic Commission (SFC) three weeks to write its detailed forensic report on the sugar and wheat scandal
The commission responsible for forensic testing of the wheat and sugar investigation report had asked for three weeks to submit the full report.
The federal cabinet approved the 75 billion rupee package for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and the unemployed.
As part of the approved “Chota Karobar Imdadi Package”, the federal government will pay the electricity bills for small businesses for the months of May, June and July.
The cabinet also approved the financial package for journalists infected with the coronavirus. The Prime Minister instructed Minister of Information Shibli Faraz and Special Information Assistant Asim Saleem Bajwa to develop a strategy to distribute aid.
The Council of Ministers has examined measures to combat the spread of the coronavirus in the country. The meeting also confirmed the decisions of the National Coordination Committee (NCC).
وفاقی کابینہ کی شوگر فرانزک کمیشن کو مزید 3 ہفتوں کی مہلت
وزیر اعظم عمران خان کی زیرصدارت اسلام آباد میں وفاقی کابینہ کا اجلاس ، وفاقی کابینہ نے شوگر فارنزک کمیشن (ایس ایف سی) کو شوگر اور گندم اسکینڈل سے متعلق اپنی تفصیلی فرانزک رپورٹ لکھنے کے لئے مزید تین ہفتوں کی مہلت دے دی۔
گندم اور شوگر کی تحقیقاتی رپورٹ کے فرانزک معائنہ کے ذمہ دار کمیشن نے مکمل رپورٹ پیش کرنے کے لئے تین ہفتوں کی درخواست کی تھی۔
وفاقی کابینہ نے چھوٹے اور درمیانے درجے کے کاروباری اداروں (ایس ایم ایز) اور بے روزگار مزدوروں کے لئے 75 ارب روپے کے پیکیج کی منظوری دی۔
منظور شدہ ‘چھوٹا کاروبار امدادی پیکیج’ کے تحت ، وفاقی حکومت چھوٹے کاروباروں کے لئے بجلی کے بل مئی ، جون اور جولائی کے مہینوں میں ادا کرے گی۔
کابینہ نے کورونا وائرس سے متاثرہ صحافیوں کے مالی پیکیج کی بھی منظوری دی۔ وزیر اعظم نے وزیر اطلاعات شبلی فراز اور معاون خصوصی عاصم سلیم باجوہ کو حکمت عملی تیار کرنے کی ہدایت کی۔
وزرا کی کونسل نے ملک میں کورونا وائرس کے پھیلاؤ کو کنٹرول کرنے کے اقدامات کا جائزہ لیا۔ اجلاس میں قومی رابطہ کمیٹی (این سی سی) کے فیصلوں کی بھی توثیق ہوئی۔
