Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan, former Prime Minister Special Assistant (SAPM) for information, congratulated Senator Shibli Faraz and Asim Saleem Bajwa on Twitter for their appointments to key information ministry positions, and emphatically rejected the allegations against them after leaving office.
Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan went on Twitter to thank PM Imran Khan for showing trust in her and she did her job responsibly as an information consultant. The former information adviser added that the prime minister has full authority to change the order of the players on the spot, and she respects PM Khan’s decision.
She strongly rejected the charges against her after leaving the position. Dr. Firdous vowed to continue serving the country as a political work led by Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Earlier in the day, the federal government of Pakistan appointed Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senator Shibli Faraz as the new information minister. According to government-appointed Lieutenant General (Retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa instead of Firdous Ashiq Awan.

وزیر اعظم کے سابق معاون خصوصی (ایس اے پی ایم) ، ڈاکٹر فردوس عاشق اعوان نے اپنے ٹویٹر میں سینیٹر شبلی فراز اور عاصم سلیم باجوہ کو وزارت اطلاعات کے اہم عہدوں پر ان کی تقرریوں پر مبارکباد پیش کی اور ان کے عہدے سے ہٹائے جانے کے بعد ان پر عائد الزامات کو سختی سے مسترد کردیا۔
ڈاکٹر فردوس عاشق اعوان نے ان پر اعتماد کرنے پروزیر اعظم عمران خان کا شکریہ ادا کیا – انہوں نے مشیر اطلاعات کی حیثیت سے ذمہ داری کے ساتھ اپنے فرائض سرانجام دیئے۔ سابق انفارمیشن ایڈوائزر نے مزید کہا کہ وزیر اعظم کے پاس فیلڈ میں کھلاڑیوں کے آرڈر کو تبدیل کرنے کا پورا اختیار ہے اور وہ وزیر اعظم خان کے فیصلے کا احترام کرتی ہیں۔
اپنے عہدے سے ہٹائے جانے کے بعد انہوں نے اپنے اوپر لگائے گئے الزامات کو سختی سے مسترد کردیا۔ ڈاکٹر فردوس نے وزیر اعظم عمران خان کی سربراہی میں بطور سیاسی کارکن ملک کی خدمت جاری رکھنے کے عزم کا اظہار کیا۔
