The Government of Sindh has written a letter to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) calling for action against those involved in the distribution of unfounded audio tapes in which government dealers accuse the government of taking bribes to keep their businesses open .
The provincial government urges the FIA to take action against the perpetrators under cyber crime laws and claims that these tapes are an attempt to irreparably damage their reputation.
Pakistani Tehreek-e-Insaf MPA Haleem Adil Shaikh shared these recordings on his Twitter account. The provincial government has also provided evidence to the FIA to take action against those behind the tapes.
