کورونا نے ہر طبقے کو متاثر کیا ہے: وزیر اعظم
وزیر اعظم عمران خان نے کہا کہ کورونا کی وجہ سے ہر طبقہ متاثر ہوا ہے ، معیشت کو استحکام اور ترقی کی راہ پر گامزن کرنے کی کوششیں متاثر ہوئیں۔
وزیر اعظم کی زیرصدارت بجٹ سے متعلق اعلی سطح کا اجلاس ہوا۔ مشیر خزانہ کی سربراہی میں سرکاری معاشی ٹیم نے وزیر اعظم کو بریفنگ دی۔
اجلاس سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے وزیر اعظم نے کہا کہ غیر ترقیاتی اخراجات میں کمی ، خصوصا غیر ضروری سرکاری اخراجات میں کمی ، موجودہ حکومت کی اولین ترجیح رہی ہے۔
عمران خان نے کہا کہ حکومت کی پہلی ترجیح ان شعبوں پر خصوصی توجہ دینا ہے جو نوجوانوں کے لئے روزگار کے مواقع پیدا کرتے ہیں۔
وزیر اعظم نے کہا کہ حکومت کی جانب سے دی جانے والی سبسڈی در حقیقت عوام کے ٹیکس کا پیسہ ہے ، موجودہ معاشی صورتحال کا مطالبہ ہے کہ لوگوں پر غیر ضروری بوجھ کو کم سے کم کرنے کے لئے اصلاحات کے عمل کو تیز کیا جائے۔
Prime Minister Imran Khan said that every section has been affected due to Corona, efforts to move the economy on the path of stability and development were affected.
A high level meeting on budget was held under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister. A government economic team led by a financial adviser briefed the Prime Minister.
Addressing the meeting, the Prime Minister said that reduction in non-development expenditure, especially reduction in unnecessary government expenditure, has been the top priority of the present government.
Imran Khan said that the first priority of the government is to pay special attention to those sectors which create employment opportunities for the youth.
The Prime Minister said that the subsidy given by the government is in fact the tax money of the people, the current economic situation demands that the process of reforms be expedited to minimize the unnecessary burden on the people.
