متعدد افراد نے اس کی ٹویٹ کا جواب ایک صارف کے مغربی وسطی لینڈ پولیس کی آن لائن ویڈیو منظر عام پر آنے کے بعد بدسلوکی کرنے والے شخص کو گرفتار کرنے کی خبروں کے ساتھ شائع کیا۔ ایک اور صارف نے گرفتاری کے بارے میں ٹیکسی ڈرائیور کے مبینہ جواب کو بھی شیئر کیا۔
دیگر عوام نے صرف دنیا بھر میں اقلیتوں کے حوالے سے نسل پرستی کے خلاف بولنے پر گولڈ سمتھ کی تعریف کی۔
Jemima Goldsmith has shared a video of a Pakistani-British taxi driver who was abused for his racism.
The video shows a British passenger in the driver’s cab who said,
“Who do you think you are? You think you’re something special? Pakistan! But I’ll tell you what? No wonder the Indians are bombing you!”
The driver searched his bag as if looking for a change and calmly replied,
“I don’t think about who I am. Have fun.”
But the untrained passenger, this time, said in an even more abusive and threatening manner:
“By the way, this is England! And you’re in a f****** job in England! So you should respect this country.”
The driver then informed the passenger that he would upload this video to Facebook so that the world could hear what he had to say. But the passenger went on:
“Do you think I’ll give a flying F ***?”
The driver then asked him to leave the taxi because he had given the change, and while he got out the passenger continued to abuse the driver because he belonged to a “Muslim” country.

Still, Goldsmith said in response to the video,
“Shabash and respect to this Pakistani-British cab driver for keeping his cool in the face of unspeakable racist abuse from a grotesque thug.”
Several responded to their tweet with a user who shared news about the West Midlands Police that the abusive man had been arrested after the video surfaced online. Another user also shared the taxi driver’s alleged response to the arrest.
Others just continued to praise Goldsmith for speaking out against racism against minorities worldwide.
